Police want witnesses following a collision at Bridgemead roundabout

WILTSHIRE Police is appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Swindon.

The incident took place shortly after 4.20am on Sunday (January 26) at Bridgemead roundabout, Swindon.

A silver Volkswagon Golf collided with a set of traffic lights before coming to a halt on the middle of the roundabout.

As a result of police enquiries, three men – one aged 22 and two aged 25, all from the Swindon area, were arrested on suspicion of drink driving. All three have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Wiltshire Police would like to speak to anyone who was in the Bridgemead area of Swindon between 4am and 4.30am on Sunday.
