Dozens of floral tributes have been left at the roadside where nine-year-old Caitlin Hunt died after being hit by a bus last night.
Flowers and teddy bears paying tribute to the "beautiful angel" are tied to bollards in Moredon Road near Blair Parade.
A card attached to a bunch from her distraught family said: "Caitlin our beautiful angel. Sleep tight baby girl. Lots of love hugs and kisses from Daddy and Becky, Mummy and Steve, Aidan and Georgia, Jamil and Malik."
Another adds: "Thinking of you all at this sad time. Gone but never forgotten. RIP angel."
