Swindon's Citizen's Advice Bureau has opened up for volunteers

OPPORTUNITIES for volunteering with Swindon Citizen’s Advice Bureau have become available.

Last year Swindon CAB helped 8,500 people solve more than 21,000 issues.

Over the next few months they are looking to increase their volunteer workforce and have a number of opportunities available They need volunteer receptionists who are organised, proactive and used to working in a busy environment.

Alternatively, Gateway Assessor or Information Guides help clients find the information they need or access the services they require by carrying out a short triage interview to assess what resources are needed to deal with their problems.

Full training and support will be provided for each role.

To apply for the May intake, the deadline is noon on April 22 and interviews will be held on April 28 and 30.
