PARENTS can take advantage of an Easter half-term children’s camp.

The Hi5 camp is available at Swindon Council’s Haydon Centre in Thames Avenue, Haydon Wick, on April 7 until 17.

The camp provides activities for children of primary school age (four to 12) and covers all aspects of a child’s development and well-being including their emotional and social needs.

Hi5 is registered with Ofsted and it encompasses the criteria laid down in their guidelines. All staff have undergone in-house training courses on child protection and welfare and staff have also been cleared by the Criminal Records Bureau to work with children.

The activities on offer to children, which vary from day to day, include team and ball games like football, short tennis, basketball, trampolining, bouncy castle, quizzes, electronic games, music and dance and arts and crafts.

The camp runs from 9.30am until 4.30pm although an early start is available from 8.15am and a late finish until 5.45pm.

A registration form must be completed before your child can enrol, download the Hi5 camp registration form or complete the sports camp on-line form at: www.leisureinswindon.co.uk/hi5-holiday-camp.

Parents wishing to take advantage of the Hi5 camp should contact the Haydon Centre on 01793 706666 for prices and more information.
