REED Specialist Recruitment were so overwhelmed with Easter eggs when they put out a call for the chocolate treats that they have been able to help a number of local charities.
Originally, the company asked their clients to donate eggs which they would then drop off at the Children’s Ward at the Great Western Hospital and Prospect Hospice.
But the response was so overwhelming, the eggs stretched further than anyone expected.
Emma Mitchell, Senior Temporaries Consultant, said: “We have been overwhelmed with Easter eggs and the generosity of our clients so have been able to collect almost 500.
“This has meant that we have also been able to donate to Hop, Skip and Jump, the Women’s Refuge and Swindon Foodbank.”
Companies that donated large amounts of Easter eggs include Technology Strategy Board, Fleetcor, Arval, M&W Group, First Great Western, AFL and Telecommunications.
