TRAFFIC heading for the M4 came to a standstill on Saturday afternoon when two vehicles collided on the A419 between the White Hart and Commonhead roundabouts.
The accident happened shortly before 11.30am on the southbound carriageway and forced a single lane closure for one hour, while two people were treated for injuries and their cars recovered.
The injuries were minor, despite the air ambulance attending the scene, above.
The patients were taken by road ambulance to Great Western Hospital for examination.
Wiltshire Police and Wiltshire Fire & Rescue Service attended the scene, but witnesses say one of those with injuries was able to free herself from her vehicle.
