A MAN who was caught with hard drugs in an alleyway in Gorse Hill is to face trial by jury in the summer after he denied being involved in dealing.
Sumon Gurung admitted simple possession of heroin and crack cocaine when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court earlier this year.
But the 23-year-old pleaded not guilty to the more serious charges of possession with intent to supply.
Gurung, of Farnborough, Hampshire, was caught with the drugs in an alleyway off Cricklade Road on Thursday, December 12, last year.
Judge Douglas Field adjourned the case to Tuesday, July 22, when he is to face trial and released him on bail until then.
