HUNDREDS of people are preparing to take part in one of Swindon’s largest fundraising events in this year’s Starlight Walk.

More than 500 people have signed up to take part in the moonlit walk tomorrow.

They will be easy to spot in glow-in-the-dark T-shirts, glow sticks and colourful accessories, as participants get into the ‘Light up the Night’ theme.

The flashy outfits will not be the only ones to shed a dazzling light as the hospice has planned a trail of luminous surprises at the region’s biggest night stroll.

And unlike some of Prospect’s other events, which raise funds towards a general pot, all funds from the Starlight Walk are spent directly on nursing care.

Participants will have a choice between a 10km and 15km route.
