SWINDON actress Billie Piper has been involved in a car accident which hospitalised a 16-year-old cyclist.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “Police were called to Goods Way, King’s Cross, by the London Ambulance Service at 15.56hrs on Tuesday, July 29 to reports of a road traffic collision between a motor vehicle and a cyclist. The driver of the vehicle was female.”
He said that inquiries continue into the incident which involved a black VW Golf which was in collision with a bike being ridden by a 16-year-old boy, who suffered from shoulder injuries.
The driver stopped at the scene.
It was reported that Billie was driving at under five miles an hour when the incident happened.
The former Bradon Forest School pupil, 31, who has appeared in Doctor Who is currently appearing in a play at the National Theatre called Great Britain where she plays a tabloid newspaper editor.
