Carol and Danny Gibbon and their neighbours Ann and Ian Handy have demonstrated their support for Prospect Hospice by inviting local people to visit their beautiful gardens and raising almost £900 for the charity.

The Old Town residents were joined by the Mayor of Swindon, Theresa Page, as they offered Prospect Hospice supporters the chance to enjoy the horticultural delights on offer Sheryl Crouch, Prospect Hospice’s head of fundraising, said: “We are grateful to them for allowing local people the opportunity to enjoy their gardens, and for choosing Prospect Hospice to benefit from them.

“I know they put a lot of work into ensuring that their gardens would be at their best for visitors to enjoy on the day.”

“The £893 that was raised will make a difference to patients we care for and the families we support at Prospect Hospice.”
