A CYCLIST is at Southmead Hospital in Bristol with serious head injuries after colliding with a delivery van in Wanborough at rush hour yesterday.
Wiltshire Police is appealing for witnesses to the incident, which occurred at 4.56pm in Church Road between Stacey’s Lane and the Callas Hill crossroads.
The cyclist was initially taken by ambulance to Great Western Hospital, but the severity of his injuries had him redirected to Southmead.
The van driver was uninjured.
Anyone with information is invited to call either PC 1003 Williamson or PC 1186 Cargill via 101.
