SWINDON'S first Year 13 students at UTC celebrated a 100 per cent pass rate in all A- level subjects with 24 per cent of students in level 3 engineering achieving three Distinction *’s.
Principal, Angela Barker-Dench said: “I am delighted with the progress of our first cohort of Year 13 graduates. We are committed to supporting our students in achieving their potential and it’s great to see this realised.
“A significant number of our students have progressed into apprenticeships and university degrees in engineering and I know these students also have bright futures ahead of them. I wish them every success in the future.”
Professor Gareth Neighbour, Member of the Board of Directors and Head of Mechanical Engineering and Mathematical Sciences at Oxford Brookes University, said: ‘'I'm really pleased to see the hard work of our A-level students has paid off. These results are testament to their hard work and dedication and reflect the excellent teaching at UTC Swindon.”
