Halloween in Swindon has a distinctly Brit pop feel as The Girl From Mars lands in Level 3 nightclub.

The Halloween special is presented by the Britpop Rocky Horror Show, which was a huge success at the Brighton Fringe Festival this year.

All the biggest Brit pop anthems are featured in this concept rock show, including songs from Oasis, Pulp, Blur, Supergrass, Dodgy, Catatonia, Republica, Suede, Kula Shaker, Ash and many more.

The show has some out of this world special effects including a UFO drone along with snow machine and a giant robot puppet.

This sci fi glam rock v Brit pop show sparkles with high camp, cut-glass accents, British Pathe news, shades of Lord Flashheart and a live band of experienced session musicians.

The story is all about girl power with a Martian dominatrix at the centre of the B-movie style show. It is based loosely on the film The Devil Girl From Mars. She lands on Earth during a snow storm and finds herself at the back of a local pub in Berkshire. She soon forms dastardly plans to capture all the human men in the world for breeding, but she comes up against two strong foes in the shape of the bar maid and a wannabe rock star.

Burlesque dancers take to the floor with a saucy Halloween twist at the Commercial Road nightclub tomorrow, Friday, October 28 for this spooktacular. For more information or tickets visit www.therollestonarms.co.uk/the-rolleston-arms/events. - Flicky Harrison
