TOOLS worth up to £3,000 have been stolen from a house in South Swindon.

Burglars entered the Belmont Crescent property between 8pm on Wednesday, September 20 and 7.30am on Thursday, October 21 and made off with around two hundred items.

PC Beckie Diamon said: "We'd like to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in this area between these times.

"We'd also like to hear from anyone who may have been offered tools for sale recently. Some of the items stolen had the initials NP engraved on them, which will make them identifiable."
