THIEVES stole Christmas presents and computers worth £5,000.
They snatched the gifts and laptops from a white Ford Transit van parked on Walcot Road.
Police are appealing for information following the theft, which took place on Monday, November 27, between 4.45pm and 5.15pm.
PC Jamie Brown said: "We'd like to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious on this road at this time.
“The vehicle's alarm was activated, so someone may remember hearing that.
"Also, if anyone has been offered for sale or seen for sale a MacBook Pro, a MacBook Pro 13" and a MacBook Air 13" - all in silver - please come forward."
