A DRIVER was freed from the wreckage of his cab by firefighters after his lorry overturned into a field off the B4042 near Little Somerford.
He suffered minor injuries in the accident and his passenger managed to walk away unhurt.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 3.40pm after reports that a HGV was on its side and crews from Malmesbury, Swindon, Trowbridge and Reading worked to free the driver safely.
As a result the road was closed until the late into the evening while the truck was recovered.
