A 38-YEAR-OLD man from the local area has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.

He's been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

It follows reports from members of the public to Wiltshire Police via social media regarding a video that appeared to show a vehicle deliberately swerving towards a cyclist on a road near Ashton Keynes.

Sergeant Barrie Card said: "I want to reassure cyclists in the county that we take all matters involving their safety on the roads extremely seriously.

"I know that this has been a distressing time for the cyclists involved in these incidents and I would like to thank them for their kind co-operation and assistance with our enquiries.

"If any cyclist or member of the public witnesses a similar incident, I would strongly urge them to report the matter to the police as soon as they can."

If you have any further information about the incident or a similar incident, please contact Wiltshire Police via 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously.
