Wiltshire Police are appealing for information regarding a series of fuel thefts from Sainsbury’s, Oxford Road, Swindon.

The suspect is believed to have stolen a total of £300 worth of fuel during three separate incidents at the petrol station, where the driver is using fake registration plates.

The suspect is described as a white man, approximately late 40s early 50s, of large build and wearing a bobble hat, dark top and jeans.

The suspect is believed to have used two different vehicles - the first car is described as a blue BMW and the second is a red Audi.

It is believed that false registration plates have been used.

CCTV footage of a man we would like to speak to in connection with the offences has been released.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Crime Management Unit via the 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously.
