CONNOR Waldon and George Barker will be part of the Swindon Town squad that travels to Stevenage tonight.

Waldon, a product of the club’s youth academy, impressed during a recent loan spell with Gloucester City and is tipped for big things by manager Mark Cooper, while Barker is still waiting to make his debut for the Robins after joining from Brighton last week.

However, both will have the chance to play a part at the Lamex Stadium as Swindon go looking for their third away win in League One this season.

“Connor will be in the squad again tomorrow,” Cooper told BBC Wiltshire. “We have obviously brought George in but we’re still light in the striking department and Connor is doing ever so well, he’s done well at Gloucester, he’s been doing well in training and we will see where we go with him.

“It depends on the state of the game (with Barker). It was a toss-up on Saturday between George and Miles (Storey) but because we were under the cosh we thought that Miles might get in on the break with his pace and he nearly did towards the end. Different games mean different situations.”

Stevenage yesterday announced that two members of their first-team squad are available for transfer, just hours before hosting Swindon Town at the Lamex Stadium.

Boro, who lie bottom of League One without a win in seven league matches, have put striker Marcus Haber and defender Davis Gray up for sale in the build-up to Tuesday night’s game.

Haber has made 51 appearances for Stevenage, scoring seven goals, but the 25-year-old has spent much of the campaign out on loan at Notts County.

While at Meadow Lane, the Canadian played 11 times and registered two goals before returning to Hertfordshire at the turn of the year.

Right-back Gray made 46 appearances for Boro last season and has featured on 12 occasions for Graham Westley’s side this season but neither player is wanted by the club.

A statement on Stevenage’s official website yesterday read: “The club can confirm that both Canadian international striker Marcus Haber and former Preston and Manchester United defender David Gray have been transfer listed.

“The pair join highly-rated midfielders James Dunne and Robin Shroot as players available for transfer.

“In other team news, striker Oumare Tounkara has been made available for loan.”
