Greenmeadow secured their place in the final of the In the Under-11s League Cup with a 1-0 win against Highworth. Man of the match Cyril Koomson scored the game’s only goal in the first half but he did almost double the lead, hitting crossbar. The game was dominated by the windy conditions making it difficult for both sides to get the ball down.

In the Under-14s League Cup quarter final Malmesbury Youth beat Wootton Bassett Town F.C ‘Yellow’ 4-2. A hard working Malmesbury took their chances and deserved their victory as two Callum Bridges screamers were not enough to give Bassett the win.

Croft JFC Red under-11s won a keenly contested Wiltshire Cup quarter-final against Melksham Town 3-2. Kieran Sutton grabbed a hat-trick for Croft to see them through to the semi-final. Sutton finally secured the win after Melksham had twice pegged them back.

Tom Ponting scored a goal in each half as Liden picked up a 2-0 away win at Hungerford in North Wilts Youth League Under-11 Division One. Attacking from the whistle Ponting put Liden ahead. Hungerford pressed and tested the Liden ‘keeper but a second Ponting goal made the game safe.

In Division Two Highworth Town Juniors T came back from 2-0 to secure a well earned point against Wanborough Juniors. Tom Moore scored twice for Wanborough Juniors as they raced in to a two goal lead. Highworth fought back with goals from Cameron Hicks and a debut goal from Max Thorley.

Under-14 Division One action saw Wootton Bassett Town FC ‘Yellow’ bounce back from their recent cup defeat to make it five league wins on the trot with a 4-2 over Stratton Youth ‘Blue’. Both sides battled against strong cross winds as goals from Callum Bridges, Lewis Cholod, Euan Burke and Daniel Hulse for Bassett saw off two late goals from Stratton.

Ollie Mulraney scored a hat-trick as Highworth Town Juniors T under-15s recorded a 7-0 away win at Division Three rivals Castle Coombe Colts. Mitchell Sutton opened the scoring from the penalty spot with Mulraney making it 2-0 before half-time. In the second half further goals from Will Lewis (two), Cameron Sadler (one) with Mulraney adding a double to complete his hat-trick.

Ryan Hawkins notched his sixth clean sheet for Blunsdon under-16s this season as they beat Wanborough 6-0 in Division Two. Matty Flannelly, Liam Yeates, Thomas Howe, Jack Ahrens and two for Joe Adams were all on target for Blunsdon.
