LIAM McCullough scored the only goal of the game as Faringdon Town won 1-0 at Long Wittenham Athletic in North Berks League Division One on Saturday.

Elsewhere in the division, three late second-half goals gave Dorchester a 3-1 win at Harwell International to return them back to the top of the table.

Jamie Fleet scored first followed by two Josh McInnerney strikes. Alan Gray netted a penalty late on for Harwell.

Overnight Division One leaders Ardington & Lockinge saw their Berks & Bucks Intermediate Cup adventure finally come to an end going down 2-1 at home to Chalfont Wasps from Hellenic League Division One East in the quarter-finals. Jonny Eudell scored their final goal in a cup run that saw them defeat three other sides from the higher Hellenic League.

A 3-0 win at Marcham has moved Wantage Town A back level on points with Division Two league leaders Abingdon United Reserves. George Howard, Chris Roche and Liam Humphreys were their three goal-scorers.

Division Three league leaders Kintbury Rangers Reserves were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Blewbury, and now have a two point lead at the top. Pete Mewse scored their goal with Brendan Morris replying for the visitors.

East Hendred Reserves move up to third in Division Four following a 3-1 win at Grove Rangers. Andy Pickering scored for the hosts, but goals from Jamie Hicks, Blake Latimer and Mike Gale gave East Hendred the victory and lifts them above their opponents in the table.

The top two sides met in Division Five and league leaders Uffington United stretched their advantage to 11 points following their tight 4-3 home win over Radley Reserves.
