LONG, PETER HENRY. Peter lost his battle against leukaemia and passed away peacefully at home with his family at his side on Sunday 20 July 2014 aged 85 years. A beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, he will be sadly missed by all who knew him. A Service of Thanksgiving will be held at the Church of the Transfiguration, Canford Cliffs on Monday 28 July at 11.30 am. Family flowers only but, if desired, donations for either Forest Holme or Poole Hospital Charity (to benefit MIU Poole Hospital) may be sent to: Deric-Scott, Portman Lodge Funeral Home, 755 Christchurch Road, Boscombe, Bournemouth, BH7 6AN.
