GILBERT Ann Née Fry Passed away peacefully at the Prospect Hospice on 27th August 2014, aged 70 years, after a very brave but painful struggle with cancer. Ann will be greatly missed by her loving husband Alan of 50 years, much loved mum to daughter Sam, a special sister to Jane and Sue, brothers John and Dennis (deceased), sister in law Jenny and caring friend Mary, along with her friends at the weekly Ellendune Country Market. Ann will be remembered for her big, warm smile, caring nature and as many would describe a wonderful, special, selfless person, who will never be forgotten by all who knew her. Funeral service to take place at St John The Baptist and St Helen's Church, Wroughton on Monday 8th September at 11am burial to follow at Wroughton Churchyard. Flowers welcome and may be sent to Hillier Chapel of Rest or donations in aid of Prospect Hospice c/o Hillier Funeral Service, 170 Victoria Road, Swindon, SN1 3DF. Enquiries; tel 01793 522797.
