FARNCOMBE Ken Passed away at the Great Western Hospital on 14th February 2017, aged 94 years. Husband of Dorothy (deceased). Father to David, father in law to Mary, grandfather to Andrew and Emma, Rebecca and David, great grandfather to Lewis, Megan and Isabelle. Thank you to the medical team on Teal Ward at the Great Western Hospital, the staff at Lansdowne Hill Care Home and for all the cards of condolence received. Funeral service to take place at Kingsdown Crematorium on Friday 17th March at 11.15am. Family flowers only, donations would be appreciated for Alzheimer's Research UK c/o Hillier Funeral Service, 170 Victoria Road, Swindon SN1 3DF. Enquiries: tel 01793 522797.

Thank you very much for your kind words Katey. My Gramp spoke very fondly of you and your family - thank you for all your help over the years. He indeed was a lovely man and we all miss him dearly. I can only imagine the delight on his face when you gave him the jam - he loved bread and jam for tea 😀. Thank you for thinking of us. Best wishes, Becky (Ken's granddaughter) xx

We will miss you, Ken. Myself, my sister, brother and husband have cleaned for ken over the last 5 years, and my grandfather remembers him as his superior in the railway works many years ago. A lovely man, I'll always remember him being so pleased with some jam we bought back from holiday for him as he used to enjoy jam and bread whilst watching Pointless. All our love to the family, from the Richards, Cooks and Warners x
