Calne Without) (50mph Speed Limit) Order 2017 Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be as follows: Order 1 - To introduce a 30mph speed limit on Oxford Road - from its roundabout junction with Sandpit Road for a distance of 87 metres in a northerly direction. Orders 2 and 3 - To revoke The County of Wiltshire (Oxford Road, Calne and Northern Distributor Road, Calne and Calne Without) (50mph Speed Limit) Order 2000 and re-enactit, in part, in the above Order 3 and to introduce a 40mph speed limiton Oxford Road - from a point 87 metres north of its roundabout junction with Sandpit Road for a distance of 302 metres in a northerly direction. Section 14(1) and Section 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic to enable Wessex Water to carry out sewer repair works: Ingram Street, Malmesbury; from its junction with B4042 High Streetto itsjunction with SilverStreet; and to temporarilysuspend the existing One-Way Order on Cross Hayes/St. Dennis Road to enable the roads to be used as an alternative route; and to temporarily suspend the existing Prohibition of Entry Order on Cross Hayes Lane entering Silver Street to enable the roads to be used as an alternative route. Alternative route via B4042 High Street -St. Dennis Road/Cross Hayes - SilverStreet and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 8 January 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 12 January 2018. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. THE WILTSHIRE COUNCIL ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT PATH 10 (PART) AND PATH 111 (PART) DIVERSION ORDER AND DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION ORDER 2017
The above order was made on 30 November 2017. The effect of the Order if confirmed will be to divert a length of footpath 10 at Brynards Hill, Royal Wootton Bassett from OS Grid ref SU 07909 81928 leading south east for 140 metres (no width recorded) to a path leading broadly south south east from SU 07909 81928 for approximately 150 metres where turning north for approximately 45 metres to OS Grid ref SU 08030 81860, total length of new route 195 metres, width 2 metres. A length of footpath 111 will also be diverted by the Order. The length to be diverted leads from OS Grid ref

approx. length 110 metres, width 2 metres to a new route leading from OS Grid ref. SU 07934 81986 to the north west, south and south west of houses to OS Grid ref SU 07872 81912 approx length 240 metres width 2 metres. Both diversions are as shown on the Order plans. The effect of the Order will also be to change the Cricklade and Wootton Bassett Rural District Council area definitive map and statement dated 1952. The diversions are necessary to enable the permitted development of the construction of 92 dwellings with associated roads, footways, parking, landscaping and drainage works to proceed (App ref no 15/10486/FUL).
