We have been breeding alpacas for just over 4 years now and on Saturday 2nd October are opening what we believe to be the first shop of its kind in this area, selling hand-crafted items from our herds fleece together with specially imported alpaca related items. Alpaca fleece is super-soft and a little like cashmere, although it does have amazing thermal properties too. We hand spin, hand knit, weave, felt and all these crafts will be demonstrated in our shop. We plan to open the shop every Saturday from 10am - 4pm and everything on sale would make wonderful presents - especially with Christmas just around the corner. On the other hand you may just like to treat yourself! Of course there will be the opportunity to meet the animals as well.
