Both boys’ and girls’ hockey teams at Prior Park Prep School in Cricklade, Wiltshire are celebrating outstanding wins and have ended the Lent term with a clutch of trophies.
The U13 boys won two trophies in one week successfully defending their County Championship title, as well as winning the Severnside shield at Warminster. The U11 boys had already been scooped the County Championship cup in their age group earlier in the term. Not to be outshone, the girls returned from a successful hockey tour in Jersey having won the Jersey tournament and two days later qualified for the West U13 mini hockey finals to be held at Millfield School in May.
A number of children from the teams have just been awarded sports and all rounder scholarships to their senior schools. Read more at www.thepriorfoundation.com Based on information supplied by Sue Hogan.
