Dorcan

Dorcan takes its name from the nearby Dorkene brook.

It is the site of the Dorcan Industrial Estate, which includes the headquarters of Tyco Electronics and offices of Npower (UK), House of Fraser and the Royal Mail sorting office.

Dorcan Technology College, which was attended by Melinda Messenger, provides the area with sports facilities.
