Tech4d Technology for disabled, is relaunching their charity and publicising their new move with the help of new volunteers Chris Lane (Website Designer) and Julie Goddard (IT trainer and project coordinator)together with the original band of dedicated volunteers and committee members.

The new premises in the Shaftesbury Centre Percy Street Rodbourne are equipped with computers donated by a local IT business, and are available for use by elderly and disabled people, with internet access and help on hand if needed.Carers of course are welcome both with or without their patients.We are open Monday Thursday and Friday between 9.30 and 2.00 although we hope to increase these hours on demand.There is no charge for this service but of course donations are warmly welcomed, tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.

The charity establised in 1990 with the aim to improve lives of the elderly and disabled and help regain their independence with the use of computers and basic personal training both in their own homes or at the centre. At present we have about 80 computers on loan in the Swindon area.
