Health Walk- Every Wednesday

Shrivenham now has team of trained volunteers walk leaders to organise and lead FREE weekly walks of approximately half an hour for those wishing to improve their health and general well-being.

Cold Pressed Rapeseed Oil - on your doorstep

Shrivenham-based Stainswick Farm is now producing cold pressed rape seed oil. Rapeseed oil is a healthy alternative to Olive and vegetable oil and it can be used for all culinary purposes – from dressings to deep frying, chocolate cake to Yorkshire puddings . It has a subtle nutty flavour that is not overpowering.

Charity Piano Concert - Sunday 19th September 2010

On Sunday 19th September at 3.30pm Philip Lambert will give a piano concert of his own compositions "Short Stories of the Vale" at St Swithun's Church Compton Beauchamp in aid of the restoration fund followed by refreshments. Tickets cost £7.50 and can be purchased from Phyllida Cooke, St Frideswide Cottage, Knighton, SN6 8NT or can be purchased on the door.
