Shrivenham-based Stainswick Farm is now producing cold pressed rape seed oil. Rapeseed oil is a healthy alternative to Olive and vegetable oil and it can be used for all culinary purposes – from dressings to deep frying, chocolate cake to Yorkshire puddings . It has a subtle nutty flavour that is not overpowering.
It is local, natural, traceable and the healthiest of oils!
Health Benefits: Rape seed oil typically contains ½ the saturated fat of Olive oil and is rich in omega 3 What does ‘Cold Pressed’ mean?
Cold pressed means that the oil has not been heated or chemically treated, therefore retaining all its natural goodness and lovely golden colour Where can I buy it?
