South Marston Escapes Flooding

Following warnings of potential high winds and heavy rain, residents were preparing for the worst at the weekend.

However thankfully the predicted winds did not occur and the drainage ditches in the main appeared to cope quite well, although there was a certain amount of surface water in the southern part of the village.
