Missing Blue & Gold Macaw Parrot

Blue & Gold Macaw parrot flew away on 20th October from Stratton Road Area- Last seen around Roman Glass He is a lovely tame parrot, has been clipped so cant fly far, he has also got a ring on his foot says JW 2 If anyone has seen him please contact me on 07956545570 Many Thanks Based on information supplied by Brendan.

It looks like my Dad (Gary Rayment from Stratton st Margaret) was the one of the eldest if not the oldest Male competitor of this years Swindon Half Marathon.

Carousel Pre-School

Due to some of the parents feeling they do not have to pay their fees, the Carousel Pre School Nursery at The Dome in Walcot may have to close. It is a ridiculous situation that the young children, including mine, who attend and enjoy playing with friends could be the ones to suffer and miss out. Apparently in the past when they have chased parents for outstanding funds, the parents just withdrew their children and went elsewhere (to no doubt do the same thing). I do wonder if some who are not working, see it as a free child minding service while they have their free time to watch Jeremy Kyle. These parents will, no doubt, be the first to complain if the Pre-School closes but show little or no interest in doing anything to help or take part in parent / child activities.
