The cinema is returning to Wroughton on Monday 8th November, with the screening of a new film starring Dame Maggie Smith and Timothy Spall at the Ellendune Centre.
‘FROM TIME TO TIME’ is a ghostly family adventure film about a boy who is sent to stay with his grandmother during World War 2, only to find himself whisked back in time two hundred years, where he unravels a mystery that has puzzled his family for generations. Directed by Julian Fellows (Gosford Park, Downton Abbey), it’s a handsome period production with upstairs downtairs intrigue, plenty of humour and a few scary bits! Great fun for all the family.
The show starts at 7:45 pm. Tickets (£4 adult, £3 concessions, £2 children) will be on sale at the door from 7:15 pm , or in advance from the Ellendune Centre. Proceeds from the screening will be donated to the Ellendune Centre. Please note that children must be accompanied by an adult.
The film is being presented by Swindon Film Society. For more information please contact Barbara Hoffbauer on 01793 330639, e-mail swindonfilm@ntlworld.com - or visit the website www.swindonfilm.org.uk Based on information supplied by Barbara Hoffbauer.
