St Augustine's Church in Summers Street is hosting a weekend of activities for the community starting at 7.30pm on Friday 20th July.

The first event is a gig by the Graham Mack Rock Band which will be raising money for Swindon Foodbank, Swift Medics and the church. Tickets and entry are £5, and refreshments will be available.

On Saturday 21st July, from 11am to 3pm there is a community fete which will consist of Stalls, exhibitions, raffle, demonstrations, games, Wii on the big screen, BBQ, refreshments. There will also be a bouncy castle. Entry to this is free - with the aim of people coming and having a good time.

At 7pm, there is a family disco, kindly provided by KDP Disco. Everyone is encouraged toCome and enjoy a dance in the church! Entry for adults is £3, with up to five children free. Refreshments and games will be available.

On Sunday 22nd July there are two services. At 10.30am, there is Family Worship which has an Olympic theme. Also at 6.30pm, there is a Songs of Praise service, where we will be singing lots of well known hymns.

Neil Fisher, Lay Minister comments "St Augustine's has always been a part of the community, and we'd like to invite everyone and anyone to come along to the church during this weekend. There's plenty to do for everyone, and it needn't cost a great deal of money - it's about having a good time!"
