Well done to Tomi Fry, who has now completed his filming with John Hannah & Rupert Everett. Tomi, aged 9 of Abbey Meads in Swindon has been filming for a new two-part mini series THE OTHER WIFE. Tomi plays the character Jared, the son of John Hannah’s character Richard. He has been filming in several locations, including Bradford Upon Avon and Bath.

The best part of the filming for Tomi was ” Working so closely with John Hannah. He’s a really funny guy. All of the cast and crew have been really nice though and the Director (Giles Foster) is not scary at all. Hilary Connell plays my mother and she is great!! Also the food is amazing!!!” The drama will initially be broadcast in Germany, but should come to the UK later this year.
Tomi has been attending classes at Stagecoach Theatre Arts School in Swindon for nearly three years. He recently took his Grade 2 Musical Theatre exam with tuition from Stagecoach’s Singing teacher Tamsin Kennard and gained an amazing 100%! He successfully auditioned for the mini-series part, after being put forward by The Stagecoach Agency. Tomi’s Principal Sheryll Datta said “ Tomi is a talented student with great energy and a charming personality. I am so pleased that we have been able to give him this opportunity and I am sure that Tomi has a bright future ahead of him.”
