We like for carers / loved ones getting together as we tend to forget how hard, confusing and frustrating it must be for them too. You may feel put off joining/attending due to shyness etc., someone with you can give you that extra confidence. Many shy people who have attended said how confident and comfortable they felt in being around people who understood. The meetings are informal drop-in session based and it gives you the chance to discuss coping mechanisms and to generally share any concerns that you may have dealing with this invisible illness.”
We have guest speakers attend from various organisations offering tips and various techniques on controlling symptoms, for upcoming meetings and speakers please go to our website www.swindon-support.co.uk or call our helpline 0844 887 2377 Dedicated to providing support and raising awareness.
