Swindon girls transformed into The Saturdays

Thursday, June 25: Five lucky young women from Swindon were treated to a glamourous makeover to transform each of them into a member of The Saturdays, followed by a photo shoot.
The makeover coincides with the band's forthcoming gig at The Oasis, Swindon, on July 2, and the launch of their new capsule clothing collection, Rare by The Saturdays.
The local girls had their hair washed, blow dried and styled, and full make-up applied by trainee hairdressers at JJ's Hairgroup School.
Smoky eyes, flawless, bronzed complexions and loose, bouffant waves were the order of the day. The hair stylists worked hard to ensure our lookalikes resembled The Saturdays as closely as possible.
Carla Rogers, 25, who became Frankie for the day, and who was entered into the Adver's makeover competition by her mum, had her hair dyed a semi-permanent chocolate brown colour to bring out a natural shine.
The five young women had their shots taken in dresses designed by each of their Saturdays lookalikes for the Adver photo shoot, which they got to take away with them as a complimentary gift from the day.
Georgie Burford, 20, who starred in the shoot as Rochelle, said: 'I've really enjoyed it, it's been really fun.
'I've never done anything like this before.'
Georgie described her outfit - a short, black, fitted dress layered beneath a long, loose-fitting, silver chain shrug - as 'gorgeous'.
Sam Rutland, 17, transformed into Una, said: 'It's been good fun, it's something different.
'I haven't got to go looking for a new dress now.'
There are 10 dresses in the Rare by The Saturdays collection, with two dresses designed by each member of the band. It is a limited collection and autumn/winter trends feature heavily.
