Too late for that

Looking like a monster,
But feeling like an angel,
Go get a doctor,
Go get a nurse,
Your heart needs looking at,
It just ain’t right,
Falling from space like a rocket,
And crashed landed in her life,
You were there,
Now you’re not,
Going in and out like fashion,
You don’t understand the sacrifices she’s made for you,
She would kill for you,
Now she won’t even cry for you,
Lying is the only language you know,
She’s going backwards in time,
Seeing if she knows where. . .
Where she went wrong with you,
Now she’s building her castle up high,
So you can’t get in,
To think that you had a chance with her,
And now you’ve blown you’re luck,
You will be remembered,
Remembered as the baddie,
Like in a panto,
But there is no happy ending for you,
She’s the princess,
At the end of the day,
You had your chance,
Had the chance to be with her,
You’ve lost yourself in a nightmare you can’t get out,
While she’s in a dream without you in it,
Revenge is sweet,
But she’s too good to give it to you,
Your words are like knives,
Swards and weapons against her,
Knocking her off her feet when her guard is down,
Haunted with your shadow,
If only you knew what she’s been through,
If only you had stayed with her,
And not run away,
You might have just had an idea how she’s feeling right now,
She used to be able to read you,
Now she don’t know what page you are on,
People have asked her if you’ve died,
Cos she just ain’t seen you around anymore,
This is her swallowing her pride,
Moving on without you,
Go on,
Tell her how much you miss her,
How much you love her,
But you want to know something?
You’re too late for all that!
