An outstanding surfer from North America, Garret Curtis is now claiming that he surfed an extraordinary thirty metre wave. This colossal new world record happened in a small village in Portugal. He used a jet ski to get out into the amazing aqua ocean.

Thirty metres is approximately five houses tall, we have spoken to the phenomenal Garret Curtis and he told us that he was petrified. Despite the force of the waves crashing on his back, he stayed firmly on the surf board.

Garret is known for his surfing prowess even though surfing is his passion he very rarely rides on the international circuit. Garrett frequently surfs. We got garret to tell us how he feels when he rides the waves. He commented, “The water is exhilarating but It can be quite treacherous!”
