Peatmoor Community School Peatmoor Swindon Wiltshire 8th December 2011 Dear Citizens of Peatmoor, Do YOU want to have a safe environment for you and your children?
Peatmoor is undoubtedly the best possible place for young children to grow up, but as a school we regret to inform you that, on a recent field trip within and around the shops and lagoon, we saw some horrific things, but luckily, some good things too: Positive changes: • The bin is no longer wobbly.
• Some of the graffiti has been washed off.
• Some of the cracked slates are fixed.
• Most of the gum is gone.
• Our habitat is healthier than before.
However, there are also some BAD things: Concerns: • There is a lot of dog poo on the floor.
• More graffiti has appeared.
• There is lots of new litter.
To help Peatmoor become a better place please contact Jackie Moyles or inform your local councillor. Please hurry, before it’s too late.
Yours sincerely, Peter Watkins, a Year 5 student.
