Mohamed to stake his claim

TOWN winger Kaid Mohamed is targeting an extended stay at the County Ground after returning from his loan spell at Blue Square Premier outfit Torquay today.
Mohamed trained with Maurice Malpas' men this morning, off the back of 10 appearances and two goals for the Gulls during his time at Plainmoor, and is available for tomorrow's League One trip to Tranmere.
With his one-year deal up in the summer, Mohamed knows he has limited time in which to convince Malpas he is worth keeping on.
Mohamed said: "I feel match fit and now I have to try and impress the manager.
"I will do my best, train hard and now see what the manager says. There are six games left so hopefully I will be involved before the end of the season.
"My contract is up in the summer and I would love to stay here to be honest.
He added: "I have enjoyed my time here so hopefully I can do enough to stay on."
