10 THINGS TO DO IN AND AROUND SWINDON THIS WEEKEND

1. The Great Western Brick Show takes place at STEAM on Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm. There will be impressive displays of Lego for all ages to enjoy. Adult tickets are £10 and children and concessions are £8.50. 

2. Lou Lou's Vintage Fair will be held at the Meca from 11am to 4pm on Saturday. There will be a fine selection of vintage fashion and homewares as well as the hugely popular vintage beauty salon. Entry is £2 or free for under 12s.

3. A Vintage Celebration for Fallen Heroes takes place at the Meca on Saturday night from 7pm in support of Scotty's Little Soldiers. There will be plenty of music and dance. Tickets are £15 - call 01793 251111.

5. John Bishop: Work in Progress will be at the Wyvern Theatre from 8pm on Sunday. Tickets are £21. Call 01793 524481.

6. Comedian Chris Ramsey will appear at the Wyvern on Saturday from 8pm. Tickets are £17.50. Call 01793 524481.

7. South Marston Hotel and Spa Wedding Show from 11am to 3pm on Sunday. Entry is free and there will be plenty of stalls to browse. For more information call 01793 833700.

8. Peter Andre will be launching his new fragrance in The Perfume Shop, in the Brunel Centre, on Saturday at 3.30pm.

9. Swindon Farmers Market takes place on Sunday outside the Outlet Village from 10am to 4pm. 

10. The Cricklade Band presents a Harvest Home Concert also featuring the up-and-coming musicians from BandAcademy on Sunday at 7.30pm at Cricklade United Church. For tickets, which are £4, call 01793 751020.
