Gadgety gifts are good for any man
1:37pm Wednesday 20th October 2010 in Gift Guide
We all know men are notoriously hard to buy for – often the direct question is the key to success, secure in the knowledge they’ll have forgotten what they asked for by December 25!
However if you want to keep the element of surprise alive, try going for something to encourage them to take up a hobby or activity in the New Year – a How to Play book, or some new accessories for their favourite sport.
If you want to splash out, try an experience day and give them a voucher for a flying lesson, or a whizz round a racetrack behind the wheel of a smart motor.
Men are also surprisingly receptive to trying new scents – if you’re bored of their current aftershave pop a bottle of the one you like the smell of best in their pile under the tree.
Silly presents – socks, underwear, gadgety gifts – almost always go down well, as do favourites from the past – release his inner child with a model-making kit.
