LOCAL ELECTIONS: Labour win in Moredon

LABOUR candidate Jenny Millin has been victorious in Moredon.

In a close fought battle, which saw the votes having to be recounted, Coun Millin won by just 51 votes.

"I'm very happy," she said.

"It was a good contest against Toby (Elliott), he was a very good candidate but I'm glad I won.

"I've done quite a bit since winning at the by-election."
