It’s just my time to write to you,
I thought I’d ask your point of view.
My grand old age is sixty-eight
I’ve decided I should like to skate.
It’s something I have never tried;
If you had seen you would have cried.
I stepped out with a vice like grip
upon the side (in case I slip).
Of course I slipped, it’s what it’s for
so I ended up upon the floor.
Get up you fool, what are you at?
Go home and knit you dopey cat.
