Tropical Heatwave
Wish you were on your summer holidays? Then come down to the main stage and this fantastic Steel Band will bring the Caribbean right to your doorstep. Close your eyes and you’ll be on the beach
with a pina colada... Hear a superb mix of calypso, latin and reggae, and get in the mood for dancing! And it wouldn’t be the Caribbean without limbo dancing! Come and watch the experts and why not
have some fun giving it a go yourself....
Mustapha Payne
This year we are pleased to welcome a fascinating Egyptian Fakir who will be performing amazing feats of human endurance. He will have you gasping with amazement as he juggles above his head while
lying on a bed of nails. Watch as we walks across dozens of broken glass bottles with bare feet! And he juggles fire while he does it! This promises to be one of our most exciting acts and is
guaranteed to hold your attention but don’t try this at home!
Bollywood Dancers
To help our ‘around the world’ theme go with a swing, we are very fortunate to have a taste of the East -The Bollywood Dreamers. They will be wowing us with a wonderful display of costumes and
music and exotic dance moves. This dance troupe includes ladies and children of all ages and will prove to be a very enjoyable part of the festival day. Come along and make sure you see their
performance in the afternoon, if you are lucky I am sure they will be inviting you to join them on stage. Don’t miss their dance workshops too.
Tony M
Many of you will already know Tony M - he’s a big part of the festival now. He’ll be keeping everyone entertained from the stage at the bottom of the High Street with loads of popular songs. If you
haven’t seen him before, you will love him!
ShelterBox
Visit the Rotary Club stand on the High Street and find out more about the ShelterBox . It’s a disaster relief solution developed by the Rotary Club and in since its start in 2001, emergency aid
from ShelterBox has provided shelter for over 800,000 people and assisted millions worldwide. Boxes have now been flown or shipped from Cornwall to every continent on the globe. Well worth a look.
