Sauvignon Blanc is a proven people-pleasing grape variety and the Marlborough region is home to some of the best - that's Marlborough in New Zealand and not as someone at a recent tasting thought, Marlborough in Wiltshire!

Now this region situated at the northern tip of New Zealand's south island can make some pretty extreme examples of sauvignon blanc, this one is made in a less aggresive style.

Sure, it's got enough asparagus, elderflower and citrusy fruit characters to satisfy the hardened "sauv" fan, but with a lovely balance of green fruit flavours and light refreshing acidity, it has an elegant style for the purist.
