SOME of you will remember the Portrait of Swindon touring exhibition commissioned to celebrate the town and its people back in 2012 to coincide with the Queen’s Jubilee. For those who missed it, now is your chance to take a jaunt down memory lane as the exhibit returns to the Swindon Museum & Art Gallery this month as part of Swindon 175.
More than 20,000 visitors browsed award-winning Create Studios’ carefully curated selection of nostalgic pictures and historic films offering a snapshot into the lives of generations of Swindonians.
Swindon Museum & Art Gallery on Bath Road is open from Wednesday to Saturday between 11am and 3pm. Entry is free. For more details go to Visit www.swindonmuseumandartgallery.org.uk.
