ONE of the latest additions to Old Town is neck and neck to win a prestigious award - but they need the support of art lovers to help them cross the finish line.

Oink Gallery on Victoria Road is currently streaking ahead in the Best Gallery category of urban guide Muddy Stilettos' awards having clocked up scores of votes. But the competition is not far behind.

Entrepreneur Mark Pepperall opened the gallery last autumn, and said the gallery had been well-received by residents in the town and beyond.

"With 23 artists being represented by the gallery and collection of wild and wonderful designer items, furniture and lighting, the gallery has a completely unique feel and has been likened by it's visitors to galleries in Kensington, Shoreditch, Clifton village and even Barcelona," he said.

"The gallery is very excited and humbled to have been nominated for Best Gallery in this years Wiltshire Muddy Stilettos Awards. "
